Position Overview:
The Sabre Flight Booking Travel Agent will use the Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS) to book and manage air travel itineraries for clients. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a passion for travel, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure each client’s travel needs are met with efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Flight Bookings: Use the Sabre GDS platform to research, book, and modify domestic and international flight itineraries for clients.
Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and schedule, providing personalized recommendations.
Fare and Ticketing: Ensure all bookings adhere to fare rules and regulations, and process ticketing and re-ticketing requests as needed.
Travel Documentation: Provide clients with necessary travel documentation, including e-tickets, itineraries, and travel advisories.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any travel disruptions, including flight changes, cancellations, and missed connections, promptly and professionally.
Coordination with Suppliers: Communicate with airlines and other travel suppliers to ensure seamless client experiences.
Upselling Opportunities: Recommend additional services, such as travel insurance, seat upgrades, or hotel bookings, to enhance the client’s trip.
Maintain Records: Accurately document all client interactions and transactions in the agency’s CRM system.
Stay Updated: Stay current on airline policies, travel regulations, and Sabre GDS updates to provide the best possible service.
