Description
ForTech Solutions Inc. is an established audio-visual company specializing in residential, private commercial, and public projects. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Office Administrator & Bookkeeper to manage our financial records in QuickBooks Desktop while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Desktop
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Generate financial reports as needed
- Handle project-related purchasing (parts, equipment, vendor orders, tracking deliveries)
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate procurement
- Answer and direct phone calls; greet and assist clients/visitors
- Manage office supplies, stationery, and inventory
- Prepare and maintain meeting rooms for internal and client meetings
- Handle general correspondence, filing, and scheduling
- Provide administrative support to management and project teams
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper and office administrator
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (mandatory)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial and admin tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with small businesses in the AV, construction, or service industries
- Familiarity with public project billing and change orders is a plus
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time, in-person (Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm)
